Dawnmender Report: Felo’thore Novastorm

Felo’thore Novastorm awoke from his coma today ((12/29)) and seemed to be doing fine.  I let him go home and discharged him from the infirmary, telling him to take it easy and eat soft foods for a while. Once he’s up to it he can return to the infirmary to get his teeth fixed. No need for his jaw to get used to lacking teeth.

Dawnmender Report: Jon Mccallum

Emberward Jon Mccallum  was unfortunate to have his legs, pelvis and one arm lost in the battle for the Dawnspire. I tended to him and I was careful, using the Light just as much needed to re-attach everything.  It is fortunate that the Forsaken are resilient and Jon is always a good patient.

I did the bare minimum to attach everything. I’ll be giving him potions until he’s fully recovered- I’d like to avoid having one of our own screaming because I sued the Light more than what was needed. My biggest worry is ensuring his spinal column can work as before. He’s top heavy. I’ll ask him about looking at reinforcing his body. I worry in the future someone will take note of it. Maybe we can also look into other options I have yet to consider.

Will continue to update as Jon’s condition progresses.

Dawnmender Report: Oosarn Bloodaxe

Tended to Oosarn Bloodaxe after the Scion made him come to the infirmary. It might be known to the other menders already but Bloodaxe is grumpy and this time came in with several cuts. None of them were to deep but Bloodaxe had packed them with mud and covered that in leaves.

There’s a powder made from blood that helps blood coagulate on wounds. it’s normally used for those who suffer from a condition where they can bleed out from something as simple as a paper cut.  I have some. I managed to get Bloodaxe to take it. I would hate to see the scar tissue try to overcompensate and grow wrongly- which could happen if he keeps applying mud. He has probably been doing this since before he’s dead. But better safe than sorry and having worms burrow through a arm that healed horribly wrong.

He allowed me to keep my hands and the still-twitching spider whose venom sac he tore out when I entered the infirmary.  I did not keep the spider and carefully removed it from the infirmary in case it was still alive.

Ouron Nethermoon: Second visit

@rods-robes-wrinkles

Ouron Nethermoon:

Previous visit with Tyleril

Added additional notes and my experience treating the patient below. Will forward this to the Suncaster Liason and out Shadow menders.

  • Repeated periods of stasis has made his body respond oddly to magical prodding.
  • Given his advanced age and resurgent mana addiction believe his  body would hungrily feed on magic if given the chance even passively.
  • Initiate Nethermoon’s body lacks a soul or even a consciousness.

Until he recovers I’ll be getting Mana crystals and giving the recommended full dosage his physician has mentioned in his reams of paper. Even in his current state Intiate Nethermoon’s body was trying to absorb mana from my holy spells. I’ll make certain to deliver the mana he needs and should we lack it I’ll channel the Light and let his body absorb that- unless something happens otherwise.

Initiate Nethermoon’s body is deteriorating at a surprisingly fast rate. Unnaturally fast. When I tried to find the source of it all I could feel was the shadows reaching out to me. There was also a absence of his mind and soul along with a dark pull to the north. There was a trail of whispers from his mouth, small psychic murmurings that lead down a winding trail north, towards the Ashenvale gate. I went further before I couldn’t anymore:

The destruction of the battle from the week prior was evident. Weapons and armor scattered the hills of Azshara, ground red from blood. Polluted and muddied and polluted by the faceless ones. An eerie shadowy fog filled me with dread as I moved, doubt slowed me down. Before I pulled away I saw the remains of a sentry golem- the whispers pulled me there but my head split in twain from a migraine and I pulled away.

Dawnmender Report: Ouran Nethermoon

Initiate Ouran Nethermoon-

Ouran Nethermoon gave me two reams (800 pages.) of papers from his physician stating his need for mana to help stave off several conditions.

Initiate Nethermoon is the oldest elf I believe I have ever seen on this side of Azeroth- his records claim he’s old enough to predate the founding of Quel’thalas. If Initiate Nethermoon were several centuries younger I would have no issue telling him no or asking him to seek out sources of mana on his own. But taking into account his age and the eight hundred sheets of paper that document it: I believe denying him mana would result in him ending up in the infirmary close to death’s door.

I will be determining the minimal amount of mana I can give him daily and seeking alternate methods while our supplies are low.

(I think he thinks I’m flirting with him. Not sure how to respond to that.)
